Our Emergency Alert Systems PREDICT, ALERT, INFORM and DIRECT by monitoring hydrological, climatological and meteorological disturbances, collect and analyse real time information and inform authorities so they can provide early warning.

We design custom inflow, water level & dam structure monitoring systems. Critical data upstream and at the dam wall is continuously recorded and transmitted to a central monitoring control system, alerting authorities to changes in conditions or potential threat.

FLOOD WARNING - TOWNS & CITIES

The most effective way to warn the public is to issue a tone followed by a clear and powerful voice message. All Emalte Public Warning & Mass Notification Systems are based on the Whelen ALERT-INFORM-DIRECT. That is, an audible siren tone to ALERT ; a pre-recorded voice message to INFORM; and live PA announcements to DIRECT, thus eliminating confusion and maintaining order.

EARTHQUAKE WARNING

Utilising Strong Motion Accelerographs and Seismographs coupled to EMALTE’s Warning Systems, alerts can be immediately sent to Dam operators, Emergency Managers and Disaster co-ordinators. Notification of the Public can then be initiated using our Whelen Mass Notification systems.

PLASTIC WASTE RECYCLING

When EMALTE re-engineered the original Plastic Collective ‘Shruder’, back in 2016, the ‘Shruder Mark II’ was born. EMALTE is now developing the ‘Shruder Mk III’ with the first deployment being for the NSW Department of Education. In addition, EMALTE is a Team member of the CRC program to engineer a containerised Shruder Recycling System (SRS) which is due for release in 2021. The Shruder Mk III and SRS playing a vital role in the recycling of ocean bound plastics and the greater plastic waste circular economy. Shown to the right is the Shruder Mk II.
